Why I Created Hosted Lagos
I first came to Lagos two years ago, unsure of exactly what to expect. What I found was a city – and a community – quite different from the one I had imagined.
From the beginning, I was met with extraordinary warmth, kindness and friendship. Beneath the surface, I discovered a welcoming community: discreet, close-knit and full of life. It is one of the most joyful communities I have ever had the privilege of experiencing.
Lagos undoubtedly has its challenges, as every great city does. Yet during my time here, I have never personally encountered hostility or felt unwelcome. Instead, people have opened their homes, shared their lives and made me feel that I belong.
Hosted Lagos grew from a desire to share that experience with others. I want guests to discover the Lagos I have come to know and love – not simply as tourists, but through trusted friendships, local knowledge and genuinely personal experiences.
This is an invitation to look beyond expectations and experience the warmth, energy and joy of Lagos for yourself.

Spend seven nights discovering a side of Lagos that most visitors never get to experience.
Your stay includes accommodation and full board, with five nights in Lekki and two nights at an all-inclusive beach resort — combining the energy of one of Africa’s most exciting cities with a couple of days to unwind by the ocean. Your Lagos Welcome
We start on Saturday evening with a welcome party, where you’ll meet ten of our local Lagos guides — your introduction to the people who will help you discover the city over the coming week.
On Sunday, we’ll all head out together by speedboat to Tarkwa Bay, one of Lagos’s best-known beach communities, for a day by the Atlantic.
Your Home in Lagos
For your first five nights, you’ll stay in our private home in Lekki, one of the most vibrant parts of Lagos. You’ll have a large, comfortable air-conditioned double bedroom with your own en-suite bathroom, as well as full use of the shared living areas and swimming pool. The house has fast Wi-Fi, a coffee machine, washing machine and all the everyday facilities you’d expect at home — so you can unpack, settle in and treat the house as your own for the week.
You’ll also have a small team looking after you. Our personal chef prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner and can cater for your tastes and dietary requirements, while our housekeeper and valet take care of the practicalities. There’s an on-site massage therapist and personal trainer available at no additional charge, and your dedicated driver and Jetour 4×4 are available for your planned activities and evenings out. Whether you want an early-morning coffee, your washing done, a massage after a day exploring Lagos or dinner by the pool, the idea is simple: you shouldn’t have to worry about the practicalities — you’re here to enjoy Lagos.
This isn’t a hotel, and that’s rather the point. You’re staying in a home, with people who live here, and experiencing Lagos as our guest rather than simply as a tourist.
